How To Copy a Page in Oracle Apex

Topic Introduction: In this tutorial, we will discuss how to Copy a page in the oracle apex Application. It can be from the same application or another application.

Follow the details description to copy an application page

Copy a Page on the Same Application

1. Open the Page on which page you want to make a copy

2. Click on the + sign in the top right corner

3. Select "Page as Copy"

4. Create a page as a copy of: Select "Page in this application" then click on Next Button

5. Now fill up this mandatory field 

• Copy From Page(Value Required): Page already selected
• New Page Number(Value Required): Give the page no if you want to change the number
• New Page Name(Value Required): Give a new page name
• Copy Public Reports: no need to change 
• Breadcrumb: If want Breadcrumb you can select the Breadcrumb option

6. Navigation Preference: Here you can declare if you want to create a navigation menu with a new page

here have three options. Select one option and Press on Next

• Do not associate this page with a navigation menu entry
• Create a new navigation menu entry
• Identify an existing navigation menu entry for this page

7. On the next screen, you can change the present region & breadcrumb name during copy page. if want to change it here and click on Copy Button.

Copy a Page Form Another Application

1. Enter the application where you want to copy a page

2. Open ant  Page

3. Click on the + sign in the top right corner

4. Select "Page as Copy"

5. Create a page as a copy of: Select "Page in another application" then click on Next Button

6. Now select from which application you want to copy the page

then follow the previous Copy Instructions above.
